I'm starting this post with an older picture of Hunter - one of my favorites of him in his crib (the same crib that my brother and I slept in, as well as my two nephews..... it's been a good bed to many!)
Within the last month, during the weekends, Hunter has wanted to sleep in his cot (bought mainly for camping trips) for his afternoon nap. And recently he has asked to sleep in it at night as well - pointing to it and saying, "that bed". So it's time to say goodbye to the crib, and hello to a big boy bed (twin bed). As you can see in the pics below, we're starting out with just the mattress on the floor until he's used to it.
