Bert took a vacation day on Friday so he had time to decorate Hunter's firetruck cake. For a long time, Hunter said he wanted a train birthday cake, so we were surprised when Hunter decided (while we were spending the day with Thomas) that he wanted a firetruck cake! He has told us he wants an airplane cake for his 5th birthday, and a dinosaur cake for his 6th... I'm sure the plans will change as we get closer!

It was a beautiful day, so we ended up opening presents outside and had a picnic lunch.
